TeamOB Shift Roster
Lesson 11: Shift Roster
Objective:
TeamOB’s Shift Roster tool simplifies the management of employee shifts. By utilizing the downloadable Excel templates, uploading shift data in bulk, and making use of the roster view and filtering options, administrators can efficiently manage shifts for all employees. Additionally, the ability to delete or update records as needed ensures that the system stays accurate and up-to-date.
TeamOB provides an easy way to upload and manage employee shift rosters. The Shift Roster feature allows you to assign shifts, mark holidays, week-offs, or leaves (paid/unpaid) for employees. You can upload rosters on a weekly or monthly basis.
Steps to View Shift Roster:
Click on Shift Roster from the TeamOB dashboard.
By default, the system will show the template for the next week. You can change the date range to view or upload the roster for the entire month.
After selecting the desired date range, click on the Go button.
Steps to Upload Shifts Using Excel Template:
Download the Import Template:
Click on the Action button at the top right.
Select Download Import Excel Template.
Fill in Employee Shift Details:
Open the downloaded Excel file. You'll see shift options pre-configured (configured in the Shifts section).
Enter the shift details for each employee by selecting the appropriate shift in each date cell.
Once completed, save the file.
Import the Updated Roster:
Go back to TeamOB and click on Action > Import Rosters.
Select the saved template and click Start Import.
The system will display the upload status for each row. Once the upload is successful, each record will show as "success".
2. Filtering and Searching Rosters
Once the shifts have been uploaded, you can view and search the roster to ensure the details are correct.
Steps to View and Filter Rosters:
Click on Action > View Rosters.
Select the desired date range for the shift roster.
Click Go to view the filtered roster records.
Searching and Filtering:
Use the search field at the top of each column to find specific data such as employee names, dates, or shift types (e.g., Paid Leave, Week Off).
After typing the search keyword, press Enter to filter and view results.
3. Deleting Shift Rosters
If you need to delete shift records, TeamOB allows you to remove unwanted data easily.
Steps to Delete Rosters:
Select the shift records you want to delete. You can select individual records or select all by clicking the top checkbox.
Click on the Actions button.
Select Delete to remove the selected records.
