TeamOB Alert & Notifications
Lesson 6: TeamOB Triggers (Alert and Notifications)
To understand the different triggers available in the TeamOB portal for monitoring user activity and sending automatic notifications based on various conditions, such as offline status, extended breaks, late reports, and idle time. The objective is to ensure that administrators are alerted in real-time about specific user behaviors.
TeamOB provides several Triggers that can be set up to monitor and notify administrators about specific user activities. These triggers help maintain productivity and ensure that users are adhering to the defined work rules. Below are the triggers available:
1. Offline Users Notification:
Purpose: Sends a list of users who are offline to the admin once a day.
How it works: If this trigger is toggled ON, the system will automatically generate a daily report listing the users who have been offline during the day.
2. Extended Break Notification:
Purpose: Alerts the admin if a user exceeds the defined break limit.
How it works: If the trigger is enabled and set to a specific time (e.g., 30 minutes), an email will be sent to the admin whenever a user’s break exceeds the defined break duration (e.g., 30 minutes).
3. Offline Since Last X Minutes:
Purpose: Sends an email notification if a user has been offline for a specified period (e.g., 10 minutes).
How it works: If enabled and set to a specific time (e.g., 10 minutes), the system will send a notification if a user has been offline for longer than the specified duration.
4. Users Reporting Late by More Than X Minutes:
Purpose: Notifies the admin if a user is late in reporting by more than the defined limit.
How it works: If enabled and set to a specific time (e.g., 10 minutes), the system will send an email notification whenever a user is late in logging their work beyond the set threshold.
5. Trigger Idle Notification:
Purpose: Sends an email notification if the user has been idle for a specified period.
How it works: If enabled and set to a specific time (e.g., 60 minutes), the system will notify the admin if the user has been idle for the defined duration.
These triggers allow admins to keep track of user activities such as offline status, extended breaks, delays in reporting, and idle time. This helps ensure that employees are productive and compliant with company policies.
