Lesson 10: Leave Management
Objective:
The objective of the TeamOB Leave Management Software is to streamline and automate the process of leave allocation, approval, and tracking for users, managers, and HR teams. The software ensures accuracy, transparency, and efficiency by offering features like real-time leave balances, automated reports, leave history records, and a global calendar. This solution improves productivity and simplifies leave management across organizations.
Defining Leave Type:
Log in to the TeamOB portal and navigate to the Configure menu, then click on the Leave tab.
Create and manage leave types by entering the name, type, and abbreviation.
Users can export, search, and bulk upload leave types using CSV templates.
Managing Leave Requests:
Approve or reject leave requests through the Leave Request tab.
Managers can search by leave type, user, or status, and export records to Excel.
Rejected leaves trigger a notification to users, and managers can also edit leave records.
Viewing Leave Balances:
View and manage leave balances by selecting leave type and user.
The leave balance details can be exported to Excel for further processing.
Leave Journals and Manual Uploads:
Create leave journals to allot leaves to users, specifying details such as the leave type and number of days allotted.
Bulk upload employee leave data using downloadable templates and importing them into the system.
User Leave Application:
Users can check available leave balances and apply for leave directly from their dashboard.
Once a leave request is made, it is sent for approval/rejection by the manager.
